Wow....back from Florida ....We had a great 2 weeks at TREASURE ISLAND.....Although my navigator Marsha got us lost twice.....We ended up in CAPE COD somehow before being stopped for speeding by a State Trooper.....However, i showed him my PEI licence and used my Newfie accent and he was so confused he let us go with a warning.......After two and a half days we arrived in time for cocktails by the pool with some folks from Sault St Marie.......Willy Nelson was at the CIVIC CENTRE on sunday nite and we enjoyed the show along with Fr Gil and guest........The place is so poorly designed Gil couldn,t find his seat and i had to send out a search party to find his seat in the nosebleed section.....And the lovely Helen "MARSHA" predicted i wouldn,t hit the water in Florida......."..Because you never go in on the ISLAND and the temp is just as warm there??????Well , it was 77 in Florida and we,ll test the water at Fernwood this summer..!! Wannna bet????I acted as Marsha,s personal trainer and we performed aquatic fitness every day .....However she said that she gained weight.....Of course i responded that muscles weigh more then fat! She was also concerned about the SHARKS.....but i informed her that since there were no warning signs i didn,t think there were any....Until a fisherman told us they caught a HAMMERHEAD the previous evening.....Ha Ha fooled you!! She decided to forgo her aquatic fitness for the duration......Now the Pres is back from a year of French immersion.....and he wants to move our meetings to the confed mall......This would mean a loss of Home Ice advantage and leave us vulnerable to attacks from the rear......So we must tread slowly and think this through N,est pas????
