Practice today for the ROCKETTES......Thats my ladies team preparing for our first game later in feb.....Right now they're my only undefeated team.......Getting ready for the predicted storm expected tonight....Don,t tell me i have to stay up all night waiting like last week!!!!Tia ...must get her sleep.....Oh ...Have you heard that a recent study has shown that a pet cuts the risk of illness and death by 50%......So...if i get a cat i double my chances????Wonder how Tia would handle that.???And former CONCORDIA STINGER ALL CANADIAN GOALTENDER JIM CORSI........Now goaltender coach with the Buffalo Sabres, was asked what advice he gave to STAR GOALIE... DOMINIC HASEK ......His response was " Do you want milk or cream in your coffee?"Did you see the article in the local paper about SUPERFOODS.......One i wouldn,t have thought of was cinnamon.....Apparently it is great for lowering blood suger and bad cholesterol.....Hope Cousin Shane read it!!!!And the lovely Helen has recently returned from Antigonish,.......the health food capital of NOVA SCOTIA with a new superfood HEMP HEARTS.........Better then Flax etc etc......Tried some out on Tia today and she was flying down stanhope lane on our daily run. I noticed that she doubled her poop too!!!Is that good???.And finally got back to the CULINARY INSTITUTE in charlottetown today for a great meal .....We don,t go much any more because Homer doesn,t like good food...He,s into fries and chicken wings for lunch....BARF!!!....Well, better go and prepare for the STORM...???BETTER BE ONE!!!!Almost forgot to mention that HIGH SPEED INTERNET has arrived in STANHOPE so i was finally able to review daughter Klays blog and see her amazing creations......I,m not kidding..!..If you want to see something check it out ...Klaydoughdreams.blogspot.com/  go to Klay,s profile and click Klay work.....

Still waiting for the BIG BLIZZARD OF WINTER O5-06.....I love it when the wind blows and the snow drifts are a mile high?????How come......Don,t know!!! But it,s great to be looking out from a warm ,cozy, house ....as long as i have a nice fire going and food and wine......Then once the storm has slowed going out with the dog and enjoying a winter wonderland.........And this year i,m anxious to tryout my BAJA in the snow.......It,s the chinese new year and the year of the dog.....so Tia and i celebrated with a chinese meal......We even gave the lovely Helen a little rice so she could enjoy the mood.....Not too much !!!!!And Helen,s daughter Alexis ran for the NDP in NOVA SCOTIA and did very well indeed ........only bested by his holiness himself Peter McKay.......Largely because people felt sorry that he was dumped by Belinda whathername.....He,s another of cousin Shane,s big buddies from the conservative party.....Dr Bob ....my RED SOX pal met him once and wasn,t impressed with his baseball knowledge......He didn,t know until later that he was a well known politician!!!And the Cornwall Thunder once again gave up a late goal to suffer defeat at the hands of the 1st place St John Midgets 2-1....We did compete for 3 periods but now must concentrate on staying away from penalties and improving our tactics on the PK......And now the good news ....Nephew Bryce ......lately of the Kelowna golf pro tour.......has taken a job on a cruise ship.....It,s a Gay cruise ship i think.......Just kidding!!! But ,i guess that means my annual trip to Kelowna is off! And have you seen any good movies lately.....Went to see SYRIANA yesterday and i couldn,t figure out what was going on!!! I must be losing my marbles ....Guess i,ll have to read the book...And The question of the day for the Thunder was.....What coach said this.?.." My wife thinks i love hockey more then her...but i like her better then baseball"

Wow, Has it been that long? Back again after a Christmas sabbatical.....The Bowrey boys are drastically reduced lately.......It,s like a war zone........Pres Jim is still in FRENCH Imursion for the Dept. of Nat Defense.....A good example of our tax money being p........ed down the drain!!!!After a year he,s now able to ask the professor if he can take a break for a Tim,s............NON!!!  The toughest prison guard on the Island" Easy Ev"IS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR A KNEE REPLACEMENT......We were hoping he could get an attitude replacement but he has to go to Halifax for that!!! Fat Carl is home recovering from surgery to save his foot!Roger.....The Runt.....is in a battle for his life and we are praying every day for him.......So it,s Barney, Homer, and Big Ed taking abuse from our favorite Tim,s associate Jen...On the hockey front my new team the CORNWALL THUNDER...of the PEI ..NB MAJOR MIDGET LEAGUE  are working hard and even though we,re in last place ,i believe we are capable of competing against anyone inthe league now! We played poorly our last game in Mirimichi  and i was upset that we didn,t give 100% .....Some of the parents on the return bus trip couldn,t understand why management didn,t pay for a post game meal and i wouldn,t let them watch a movie.....Welcome to my world!!!!!Next trip ,i bet we play better!!!
