Well it,s nice to be missed......and the "not quite over the hill gang" has been feeling very left out lately....mainly because of my frequent trips to summerside and my absence at coffee at tims......Also the lack of posts in this blog......Yes ,i have been busy....Like Willy Nelson."I,m on the road again"....But today we were treated with a guest appearance from "THE PRES"....on break from his cours francais......He informed us that he has bought a Tilly hat.....which ,for some reason, helps him speak better french.....We,ll have to investigate that! Homer was zinged by the waitress at tims this morning.....As usual, he was complaining about the muffin wrapper sticking and the difficulty of removing same.......Also they wouldn,t pour his milk for him at the counter.......The waitress said , if he couldn,t get the wrapper off he surely needed someone to pour his milk? Good one and best of the day!!!! It,s like the Air farce when we get together at Tims......Also Homer has come up with a skit for the wedding party on labor day for daughter Klay.....Oh boy....it,s a duzzy!!!!We,ll have to review it again..........Well got to go now........I,ve been recruited to take care of the twin terrors of my niece Tara at hockey school tomorrow.....The same ones i couldn,t get to go on the ice last winter....Mary ,mother of god, pray for me tomorrow!!!And Barney had a surprise birthday party on the weekend.....He was 60......Can you believe it????? He doesn,t look a day over 59! Must be his younger wife Rose who keeps him young!!!! When i reach that age i sure hope i,m as healthy as he is!!! Of course physiological age is far more important then cronological......And i have the body of a-------year old????

Now, in addition to Roger "THE Runt" coming down with cancer "les boys" have to worry about his potential 'CEMO FOG" ......So every day we have to come up with some skill testing questions to see if the little guy still has all his marbles..........Shane ' Homer" Hennessey being the smartest of our group.....".IN his own mind."....Well he went to grade six and his 3rd year came first in a spelling bee!!! He came up with a few questions and Roger was able to answer them all.........LIKE......What day is it? Whats your wife,s name? How many fingers? So lets give more money to the corrupt governments in Africa.......Thats no solution! Better to support the NGO,S like the STEPHEN LEWIS FOUNDATION.....Folks  who actually go into a country and help support the people.....And now the activists are insisting that they end the 'running of the bulls" in Pamplona Spain.....Reminds me of my own experience in 69 when i didn,t jump in front of the bulls......I,m not that crazy.....I was one of the alcohol fuelled aficionados that watched the event from afar.....Thankyou very much!
