I can,t wait to hear the NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS of our MOTLEY CREW......We,ll do a survey when and if the DVA ever gets back to work??? Thats the dept of vets affairs for those who haven,t been following along......And in Montreal a long established tradition of CHRISTMAS HOCKEY TOURNEYS continues.....including teams from ST FX and MONCTON....How about UPEI starting one here next season.?....A great way to increase the fan base for UNIV...HOCKEY.. Alta Badia Italy.....The scene last week of THOMAS GRANDI,S great victory in the GS......I know the place well ...We made history there playing at an outdoor rink at -20 degrees....The fastest game in ITALIAN HOCKEY HISTORY!!!!!And ,i guess their are no good coaches in eastern canada......At least HOCKEY CANADA must think so!!! Look at the CANADIAN JUNIORS and the SPANGLER CUP teams ....all WESTERN .....and only 1 quebec player on the JUNIOR ROSTER.....Looks like a little ethnocentrism to me....and it,s been prevalent with HOCKEY CANADA for quite some time!!!

HO HO HO and a Merry Christmas to all you sport fans and others.....Tia and i will hunker down on Stanhope lane and enjoy some classic movies......National lampoon,s CHRISTMAS VACATION, MIRACLE ON 34TH ST.....IT,S A WONDERFUL LIFE and WHITE CHRISTMAS are on the must see list.....Finally finished my little paintings for my nieces children in summerside....and we,ll enjoy the day with them tomorrow....A little christmas cheer last nite at the local watering hole..and a final tribute this afternoon to again celebrate the festive season......Roger ,The Pres and myself went for our christmas lunch on wed........Shane was busy doing his duty with the DVA.....And we,ll finally get our hockey fix tomorrow with the world juniors starting.....Just how am i going to watch it with the twin terrors around will be interesting.....We may have to resort to DRUGS?????

Another get together with my Rockettes hockey club after a great practice today prevented me from joining the MOTLEY CREW for coffee or lunch.....Those gals know how to treat a coach.....Too bad i had to wait so long before i got to coach a female team....And ,i hear that Roger THE RUNT,S male hiking friends are really excited that their is no hockey this season....Apparently they have more time to talk about their feelings..... and to fall in love with each other..!!!...We haven,t seen Roger for a week now???? And Brad Richards has an injury?????? and had to leave his team in RUSSIA.....I would expect their is more to the story......like, how do you like living conditions and language problems as well as the threat of kidnapping ?....In addition Brad,s team is not exactly burning up the league with 9 or 10 NHLers in the lineup.....But it must be the hooking and holding that happens over there!!! Like ,it doesn,t happen more in the small NHL rinks????....

Just got back from an interesting wkend......I tried to get to Halifax on sat to attend a christening for my newest grand niece Abigale......Didn,t happen .....I realized at the bridge that i had left my bankcard in the machine that morning.....I ,m going for the smell test with Shane tomorrow!!!! So i stopped on the other side to phone the bank....I smelled smoke.....Did Roger sabotage my truck???? I turned back across the bridge and headed for my brother,s house....Lost my POWER STEERING but still able to drive.....Then ,trying to do my good turn for my niece i took her two 7 yr old, twin terrors to hockey practice.....Total failure....Took me 45 min to get them dressed and one guy lost his helmet and wasn,t allowed on the ice with the replacement.....The other guy saw him on the bench and suddenly got sick!!! Later one guy almost decapitated the other by letting his equipment bag go down a flight of stairs straight for the other guys head.....I yelled and he jumped out of the way at the last minute......However they recovered for the PIZZA PARTY after......Apparently ,it was my fault because i gave them FRENCH FRIES before the practice......

Well, a big nite coming up with the final show of MAKING THE CUT.....Can,t miss it!!!! And we had another great practice with the ROCKETTES today....Those gals are improving every practice....and learning Italian too....The word for today was what every women should know before going to italy.....QUANTA COSTA????? And i joined the guys for lunch at the culinary today.....Cousin Shane, under investigation by the PEI HOCKEY ASSOCIATION for breaking his parole, is a staunch supporter of the players in the current LOCKOUT.......One would think that Pres Jim would go in the opposite direction ,BUT NO , it seems he agrees with MR Magoo!!!! So it was impossible for me to convince BOB and DOUG that the NHL cannot survive unless they have a salary cap! So the owners are responsible!!!! Does that mean they can,t try to fix the situation ? We,ve got to try a new test on Shane....Apparently the loss of 10 common smells could point to the onset of the big A......We,ll do the smell test in the near future but in Roger the runts case......All crowded elevators smell different to a midget!!!!!

Apparently my spelling of Alizimers has been questioned by the esteemed" PRES". As i do not claim to be the greatest speller of all time..,."..but i did win a few spelling bees in grammer school," i checked on google and found 3 different spellings.....ALZHIMERS, ALZHEIMERS and my own version.....Hopefully, none of the versions will affect our MOTLY CREW......Although ,as i,ve previously noted Roger and the GRINCH THAT STOLE CHRISTMAS, and my picture, are in danger...But ,with my VEGGIE THEREPY ,we should be able to help Shane...at least to find his office in the morning.....For Roger the task will be more difficult.....Perhaps chinese water treatment or the SCOTCH MASSAGE, i experienced once in SLOVAKIA will do the trick......Where can we find a SLOVAK on PEI?????..And my gals hockey squad will have a festive christmas party tomorrow....I can,t wait to see the ladies FULLY DRESSED!!!!

My" ICE ANGELS" have changed their name.....Now known as" RICHARDSON,S ROCKETTS"".....sounds good to me! And we had another big day at the rink today.....My question of the day about the women on PEI being the happiest in canada was answered.......naturally!! But my hockey question WHO WAS THE NHL COACH KNOWN AS CAPTAIN VIDEO ?went unanswered!!! Well they,ll have to go home and ask their husbands or kids.......And one of the gals informed me that she does NUDE PHOTOS.......I declined but offered to assist her on occasion, if needed!!! She does mostly wives wanting to give their husbands a nice gift for christmas......Was listening to the radio last nite and heard an interesting discussion about MEMORY......and ALIZIMERS DESEASE........Apparently FOLIC acid may play a role as a deficiency of this vitamin seems to be prevalent in the brains of alizimer patients.......And ,where do you think is the best source ????? VEGGIES!!!!! And it seems that cooking veggies for 10mins eliminates most of the vitamin .....Since Cousin Shane hates most veggies .........and when he eats them he wants them cooked to death ........,it,s no wonder that he needs someone to lead him to his office in the morning!!!We can,t figure whats wrong with Roger the Runt......He eats most of his veggies!!!

Here we are at fri again and Cousin Shane is bugging me about not enough on the blog.....Well Tommy Douglas won the GREATEST CANADIAN CONTEST at the CBC.....Don Cherry would have made a few interesting comments like...".TOMMY DOUGLAS are we talking about Greatest Canadian or WORST HAIRCUT".?" The ballot boxes were stuffed by FRENCH GUYS and EUROPEANS". "And DAVID SUZUKI ,I prefer HARLEY DAVIDSONS but his bikes are good too"!!!!And it was a great event ,last nite ,at the MAC.....The ice mommas played to a draw with the ICE MOM,S of NEW GLASGOW....A very entertaining game ,full attendance, and i can honestly say that after over 25 years of coaching, i saw some things last nite that i,ve never seen before in hockey....One player had a breakaway and lost her stick .....She tried to kick the puck into the net!!!And ,most important, was they collected over 8000 bucks for breast cancer research.....CONGRATS .....and i,m looking forward to getting my ICE ANGELS a game against the MOMMAS....Yesterday Cousin Shane lifted a passport photo from me.....God only knows what he,s planning on doing with it.....He refused to return it!!!! I,ll probably see it on a MOST WANTED POSTER at the POST OFFICE?????.And a recent study found that the women on PEI are the most satisfied in CANADA.........None of the coffee group wives were contacted..!!!!!!And my ex girlfriend is in NEWFOUNDLAND......Thank GOD!!!!!!!
